Art and Culture Center

This project presents a new approach to community center design in Skudai. Being the social heart of the community, Art and Culture Center in Skudai is proposed with variety functions and intended to be the defining element of community life on the site. It designed to be more a socially and programmatically complex, bearing an important liability to promote the elements of Johor’s culture. Focusing on preserving the traditional musical group and culture dance of Johor, which are included Ghazal, Kuda Kepang and Zapin,  Art and Culture Centre of Skudai provided a comprehensive mix of performance and education spaces, and concentrating on improving social interaction in seamless way so that public service synergies are maximized.
